I have to admit, when we first reserved our rooms online, I was hoping it would be good as we imagined....it was even more wonderful!

The landscape is just beautiful. We were there in May - so the green rolling hills were speckled with patches of red poppies. Words cannot describe the beauty (which we would look out into every morning over the complementary breakfast and cappuccino)

The cottages are fully equipped. There were several times, we thought 'I wonder if they carry this' - and right there, in one of the kitchen cabinets, there it would be.

The owners, Manuela and Andrea, are not only wonderful and accommodating hosts, but the warmest most open people we had met in Italy.

Fonte Bertusi was truly the highlight of the trip. The landscape is spectacular. The accomodations and service are great- lacking in
nothing. If you travel to Tuscany - you must make it a point to stay there.
