The signal is present in all apartments and externally throughout the property. When you pack your bags dont forget to bring your own laptop, iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry, etc.Linen serviceFonte Bertusi does not provide a daily cleaning service or daily change of linen.The apartments include beds with fine cotton sheets. For those staying more than a week, on request, we provide a free change of bed linen on Saturdays. In the bathroom we provide a bathmat and for each person there is a hand towel and a bath towel. On request we will provide a free change of towels on Wednesdays and Saturdays. In the kitchen you will find a tablecloth and 2 dish towels, with free exchanges upon request. If you do not bring your own towels for the pool, we provide them for you free of charge upon request. Outdoor spacesFonte Bertusi has a thousand hidden corners to get lost in nature and enjoy landscapes and unforgettable fragrances.Take a book and look for the perfect place ... no one will disturb you. Each apartment has a private outdoor area with table and chairs in the shade. In addition, in the pool area, each apartment has its own umbrella and deck chairs marked with the same number as your apartment. A little farther away you will find our comfortable hammocks under a pergola where you will be lulled by the wind and the scent of wisteria. For childrens there are two swings and a rocking chair, in addition to the many adventures they may have with our cats, birds, geckos and lizards. BarbequeAvailable to all guests is a fantastic barbeque pit with firewood, with tables and chairs nearby for outdoor dining. This area is shaded by two beautiful oak trees, and it is the ideal place to spend a beautiful evening alone or with friends. The wood is free of charge.OvenUnder a vine-covered pergola, furnished with table and chairs, you will find an area equipped with an electric oven for your use, free of charge. We only ask that you remember to tidy up when you are finished in order that is ready for the next guest to enjoy.BirdwatchingWhen we first began our renovations of Fonte Bertusi there were only four trees. Over the years we have created a small forest and we have more than 250 types of plants including 120 olive trees that soon will give us a very good oil. With the increase of trees, year after year we have also seen an increase in the birds that nest or find shelter in the trees of Fonte Bertusi. If you want to birdwatch, we are happy to provide binoculars and a field guide to help you identify the birds you will see. Some of the birds you will likely see include the hoopoe, swallow, blue tit, golden oriole, green woodpeckers, jays, magpies, turtle-doves, and many others. Around the hours of dawn and dusk, with a little patience, you can also see deer, pheasants, and hares living safely in the nature reserve.Take a book and leave a bookOver the years our guests have left us many books, which gave us the idea of providing you with this little treasure. If you forgot to bring with you a good book to read, please enjoy one of ours.. And if during your vacation you finish reading your book, and if you like to leave a little treasure behind for future guests, leave it with us and take one you like in exchange.The water of Fonte BertusiThe name Fonte Bertusi originates from the natural spring water source that is only a few meters away. It is a rich source of water which supplies us and our neighbors. All the rest goes to form the little lake at the bottom of the valley. We treat it with a water purification system, making it safe and without altering its delicious flavor. Enjoy this delicious water, drinking it directly and safely from the tap, which also helps to keep a cleaner environment by not buying plastic bottled water.The vegetable gardenFonte Bertusi has a small vegetable garden which we offer to our guests to enjoy In the spring and summer. In front of the breakfast room every morning we leave freshly picked vegetables and baskets for the free use of our guests. Take what you want and enjoy the freshness of the garden, and then return the baskets for more!Washing machineWe have made available to all guests a washing machine that you can use for free. Please only use liquid soap in the machine and wash only full loads to help us save on energy. To dry your things you can use the special clothes drying racks that are outside each apartment.HeatingFortunately in our region for many months out of the year heating is not needed. For the winter months, or when it is necessary, Fonte Bertusi provides free heating schedules, established by management, ensuring a comfortable environment. For different requirements you can ask for extra hours that will be calculated and charged separately.Kitchen kitIn the apartment you will find a small supply of salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar and tea.Kitchen SpicesUpon departure, many of our guests leave us the spices they used during their stay. Fonte Bertusi puts these at your disposal. Before shopping come and see if there is anything that you would like to use.Paid services on requestLocal Tuscan productsIn the reception area you will find a well-stocked selection of the best wines of Tuscany that you can enjoy in front of breathtaking sunsets. There are also white, sparkling wines, and prosecco.In addition, you can also buy extra virgin olive oil, cookies, pasta and balsamic vinegar.
