Olive Oil Festival
Festival of San Quirico’s Olive Oil
In San Quirico since 1993 every year during the week-end of 8 December, the festival dedicated to extra virgin olive oil is held. The olive oil from this region is one of the best and most renowned tuscan products in the world. The village will be filled with food stands where you can taste the new oil and typical dishes. There will also be awards, shows, conferences, showcooking, and street games. It will also be possible to immerse yourself in nature with oil trekking, a walk in the countryside to discover the places where the precious olive oil is produced. There are also areas dedicated to children such as the fairy tale palace, where the little ones can take part in creative workshops, tales and games.
